  Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is a family-friendly fundraiser to help raise funds towards helping some of the most vulnerable people in our city.

  What will CNOY be like?

  We will start outside of the Metro Hub at 4:00 PM by checking in with your team, getting your toques, and mingling with other participants. We have the street to ourselves and it will be like a block party! At 5:00 PM we will start by having an introduction send-off led by the Mayor himself. This will be followed up by a warm-up group Zumba class in the street. It’s a lot of fun and gets everyone warm before we embark on the walk. In our teams, we will begin our walks (there are signs to guide us). After we get back, we will go into the Metro Hub and have refreshments, eat food, listen to live music and continue to hang out.

  How to raise money

  Once you have signed up using the link above, you can start to fundraise! Usually, the best way to fundraise is to contact your family and friends directly, by A) talking to them in person or calling, B) messaging them on social media/texts. It is also a great idea to post on your social media. Another great idea is to ask business owners whom you know to sponsor you.
