  • An eclectic evening of the performing arts at the Metro Hub.

    All funds raised through Art Alley will be matched by an anonymous generous donor (up to $10,000) so please be generous. Funds raised will benefit the Metro’s ongoing work with those experiencing homelessness and relational poverty.

    Continuing in the rich tradition of the Arts at Metro Community we are hosting what we hope will be an annual Arts evening at the brand-new Metro Hub. The performers represent some of Kelowna's finest, musicians, visual artists, poets, rappers, and dancers. Each one donating their time and talents to raise money to help Metro's efforts among those experiencing homelessness and relational poverty. We will also have a silent auction on the night.

    FEATURING: Songs of the Southern Belles (Trio) - An outstanding Country band performing songs of the famous women of Country Music.Under the Rocks - Foot stomping banjo, searing fiddle, slick flat pickin' guitar and upright bass. Blue Grass with attitude.Aaron Ord - South American salsa meets traditional Celtic music. Harp music as you have rarely heard it. Kethra Stewart & Corine Derrickson - Indigenous cellist and drummer bringing beautiful sounds from the land.Creators Arts Centre - Dynamic modern Dance and movement performance.Zac Gauthier - Vibrant mind-blowing percussion from one of Kelowna's finest drummers.D Lopez - Earthy and raw. Rapping from the heart and reaching deep into your soul.Liz Ranney - A force of nature in the visual arts, Liz will do a live digital rendering projected on two massive screens.Gauche Coach - Poetry/Rap/ Hiphop Duo. Edgy and street-wise, beats and banter from the alley.

    You are invited to this creative eclectic evening of the Arts. Bring your friends and family, it will be a very inspiring evening. We are also honoured to have former City Councillor Ryan Donn as our MC for the evening.

    We are thankful for each of the artists who have donated their time and talents to this evening.
